My name is Nadia and stories are my passion. I'm a proud mum of two little book lovers and nothing makes me happier than sharing a book with a little soul to listen.

​

When I'm not running The Story Sack I work as an EYFS practitioner/HLTA in a local primary school which I adore.

​

Since embarking on my adventure into early years back in 2020 when I closed my wedding business, I have developed a love and passion for teaching children not just to read, but to fall in love with reading stories.

​

The story sack was born out of my love for creating inspiring play activities in the classroom for reception and preschool classes, and at home for my now 4 year old son Oliver. Tuff trays and story sacks have become my happy place and I wanted to find a way to share my love for creating and exploring them with my local community.

​

I work full time and have no plans to move away from the classroom just yet so my sessions run at weekends and during the school holidays. When you join us you'll meet me along with my daughter Isla who is my 10 year old chief of staff and the best teaching assistant I've ever had, my son Oliver who is my executive play tester and their wonderful grandma who keeps us all running to time and organised.
