Term Time Story Sessions
*NEW* pre school story play sessions launching September 2026! We're launching in September with some of our favourite stories! Our term time sessions will have all the joy of our weekend/holiday sessions just with a slightly smaller set up as these sessions have a little more focus on adult led activities but still with all the fun of our free flow activities. Term time sessions will run on Mondays for 5 or 6 weeks depending on school term dates and last for 90 minutes. We're hoping to run our group at Wordsley Community Centre but if we can't we'll be confirming a new venue very soon!
What to expect
Our sessions begin with a singing register and our story sack where the children can explore props and ideas from our story of the week.
After we've explored the story sack we read the story together you and your child are free to explore the play stations at your own pace in whatever way you choose. I am always on hand to play but this is your time to get lost in some wonderful story play, craft and messy play with your little one.
Once the children have been to explore the play stations with you we will invite them back for an adult led activity with me before we sing our story song and share our creations together from the session. Sometimes I will extend the free play time and work with smaller groups instead depending on what activities we're doing. Our sessions are designed to be very flexible and your little ones aren't expected to come join in with group activities if they're not ready to.
